here’s the roundup. Since the race everything feels like I have to catch up, or is it ketchup, I don’t even know: busy busy busy.
The race was everything I hoped for. I’m addicted. I’ve never done competitive sports before, so the roar of the crowd at the finish, the cheers along the way, the feeling of success was all new. I’ve done the distance in significantly better times, but I enjoyed every minute of the race. I talked to other runners, the pomp and ceremony, the crazy fans, the crush of 22000 runners at the starting line, running through my old stomping grounds.
Because of my funky shirt, spectators picked me out of the crowd and were hollering my name, go MAGGIE go! What you don’t know, that smile was at the end of the race, when I finally saw my family cheering for me, tears were streaming down my face.
it was the best moment in my life so far, for so many reasons. But here is my question, I’ve never been in such good shape, so where is my waistline?
